Vision & Mission

Helping Hands Ministry’s vision is to eliminate all physical and spiritual poverty in East Bell County by cultivating an environment in which individuals and families are empowered to work out of systemic poverty and toward wholeness, through ministries of relief, development, and advocacy.

Core Values

Four core values demonstrate the essential, unchanging values of Helping Hands Ministry of Belton: 01. prayer & the Holy Spirit, 02. dignity & worth, 03. collaboration, and 04. speaking against injustice. These values represent not only what Helping Hands Ministry stands for, but also guide our board of directors, staff, and volunteers in ministering to our community.

01.

Nothing eternal can be achieved without the power of the Holy Spirit and the people of Helping Hands Ministry calling upon God for divine leadership through prayer.

02.

All are treated with compassion and grace. Volunteers and staff demonstrate Christ’s love to everyone who enters the doors of Helping Hands Ministry.

03.

Helping Hands Ministry is committed to walking alongside our neighbors and with partnering churches, businesses, and community organizations to create sustainable solutions to problems of poverty and injustice in the community.

04.

It is the unapologetic conviction of Helping Hands Ministry to publicly speak with (and at times, for) our neighbors who are subject to unfair treatment and discrimination.
