When you come to shop at Laura Mae's, know that your money is well spent. Every penny of profit goes back in the budget of Helping Hands Ministry to provide for the ministries which help the community. Laura Mae's sells charming home items such as fine china, glassware, silver, decorative paintings, granite crosses and more. In addition, our women's apparel section has a variety of name-brand clothing styles in all sizes and an exquisite selection of jewelry, purses, and other accessories - perfect for all your wardrobe wants and needs!
The shop was named after Laura Mae Peters, who worked diligently to serve Helping Hands Ministry from its beginning, and the ministry is forever grateful for her contribution. Laura Mae's Resale Shop began in 2010 as a social entrepreneurship endeavor. It was founded by a partnership by Micki Ellis and Millie Pilot to create another source of income for Helping Hands Ministry. All profits made by the resale shop are used directly to benefit Helping Hands clients. In addition to providing increased revenue, Laura Mae's Resale Shop provides a job opportunity for Helping Hands' employment mentoring ministry. To find out more about this ministry, click here.
