Letters of Appreciation

The following are actual letters from clients at Helping Hands offering thanks for the difference made in their lives:

"Dear friends at Helping Hands,

Larry and I would like to thank you for all the pleasant visits to your organization for food and other things in the clothing area.  You have a lot of good stuff.

Maybe we can help some of you.  If so, call us at [254.xxx.xxxx] and we will see what we can do.  You have helped us for a long time and we are doing better now.

Thanks again and may God bless you and your work."

"Helping Hands really lives up to its name!  You helped so many families this Thanksgiving that would have had nothing.  As I sat in my truck waiting to pick up my son’s Thanksgiving basket, tears welled up in my eyes, seeing the young and not so young ‘helpers’ all with smiles on their faces; giving to families that would have done without if it weren’t for you.  A big Thank You from my son.  You did a great job and we appreciate it.  Thank you again."

"Dear Helping Hands Ministry of Belton:

I just wanted to take this time to say ‘Thank You’ for being such a wonderful help to my family!  Hurricane Ike caused a great deal of devastation to the Texas Coast on September 12, 2008 and my family, like so many other families, suffered loss.

When we came to Belton after the storm, Helping Hands was the first place recommended to help a family in need or disaster survivors in the area.

How wonderful that Helping Hands Ministries would open its doors and be such an instrumental part of ‘making a house a home’  for me and my children — and so close to the Holidays!  The food, clothing and Thanksgiving Basket were such a blessing and truly a helping hand to us, especially at this time in our lives.

If there is ever anything I or my family can do to assist you and this great ministry, please do not hesitate to call on us."
